A BENEFIT FOR LYRIC SUMMER ACADEMY

San Diego Stars join together to Support Lyric  in a hilarious evening of Musical Theater classics
starring LEIGH SCARRITT, EILEEN BOWMAN, DANIELLE FORSGREN in a night of show stopping song and dance.

There will also be special appearances by
TOM ANDREW, MELINDA GILB, PHIL JOHNSON, PAUL KRUSE, RAYME SCIARONI,
and other guest surprises! Also being featured are Alumni from Lyric’s Summer Academy

Master of Ceremonies for the evening will be J. SHERWOOD MONTGOMERY

The Lyric Summer Academy is a training ground for middle and high school students in the San Diego area.  Taking place annually each July, it provides students with focused training in voice, dance plus acting and culminates with a performance of a musical production.  This season will be "Thoroughly Modern Millie Jr.."  Many of Lyric's students go on toperform in shows at Lyric and other local theaters as well as moving onto prestigious college programs and Broadway shows.  Each year, Lyric endeavors to raise scholarship money in order to enroll as many students as possible.  The cost per student for the four week program is$1,000.00; a tuition typically beyond the reach of many students from the North Park and City Heights areas. There will be songs and laughter and talent aplenty on our stage. Come join the fun!
