Librettists
The Parisian librettist and dramatist Saint-Georges often collaborated with others, especially Eugène Scribe. Most of his opera libretti were of the comic opera type although a few were for grand opera. At the age of 30 he became the manager of the Opéra-Comique, the site of the premier of Donizetti's The Daughter of the Regiment which he and Bayard co-authored. He also wrote novels.
